As Founder and Director of Premier Brickwork, Craig Hughes brings extensive hands-on experience and industry knowledge to the business. With a career built in brickwork and construction, Craig has developed a deep understanding of the trade, from on-site delivery to managing large-scale projects.
Craig is passionate about quality craftsmanship and takes pride in ensuring every project meets the highest standards. His leadership is rooted in practical experience, strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering reliable, professional results for every client.
Through his vision and dedication, Craig has built Premier Brickwork into a trusted name in the industry, known for its consistency, quality, and attention to detail.
As Co-Founder and Director, Sharon Hughes plays a vital role in the successful running of Premier Brickwork. Working alongside Craig, Sharon oversees the operational and administrative side of the business, ensuring everything runs efficiently behind the scenes.
With a strong focus on organisation, communication, and client relationships, Sharon helps maintain the high standards the company is known for.
She is instrumental in supporting the team, managing processes, and ensuring that projects are delivered smoothly from start to finish.
Sharon’s commitment to professionalism and her approachable nature make her a key point of contact for clients and an essential part of the company’s continued growth and success.
OUR TEAM
Emma has been an integral part of the team for 3 years, keeping the office running smoothly and efficiently. As Office Manager, Emma oversees the day‑to‑day operations, supports the wider team, and ensures a welcoming and well‑organised workplace. Known for her attention to detail and approachable nature, Emma plays a key role in making sure everyone has what they need to do their best work.
Harriet joined the Premier Brickwork team in 2025. As our Accounts Administrator, she manages our day-to-day bookkeeping, including invoice processing, bank reconciliation and supporting month-end processes with meticulous attention to detail.
Harriet is highly proficient in Sage and QuickBooks, ensuring our internal financial processes run smoothly.
York has been with Premier since October 2025 as the Health and Safety Manager. His day-to-day role involves overseeing the health and safety of all employees, subcontractors, and members of the public they come into contact with. He draws on over 30 years of experience in construction to continually assess work processes, ensuring health and safety compliance is maintained while upholding excellent quality standards, even under the pressures of time constraints.
Chris is a highly experienced construction professional who began his career as an apprentice with premier and progressed into manny different roles over the years for us and is now into a dual role combining advanced bricklaying expertise with junior project management responsibilities. This brings a deep understanding of site operations, quality craftsmanship, and team coordination, with a proven track record of delivering projects efficiently and to a high standard.
